Training Description of Implementing Food Safety Management System ISO 22000: 2005

ISO 22000 is an international standard that combines and complements the main elements of ISO 9001 and HACCP in terms of providing an effective framework for the development, implementation and continual improvement of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS). ISO 22000 aligns with other management systems, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, to enable effective integration of these systems.

These management systems need to take into account the basic rules of food and workplace practices is acceptable as well as plans for the possibility of crises such as product recall. All these types of practices form the basis of a Food Safety Management System. Prerequisite programs such as GMP are applied current (current Good Manufacturing Practices, cGMPs) is an important basis for the successful development and implementation of HACCP plans. Food safety system based on HACCP has been applied successfully in food processing plants, stores sell food and foodservice operations.
