Training Description of LNG (liquefied natural gas):
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as an alternative to natural gas transportation industry has evolved into a fairly honor and high economic value. The industry has several levels of the value chain such as the exploration and production, liquefaction, transportation, and storage and regasification. LNG will be changing very dynamic and critical along with the development of world energy supply and demand is rising sharply. This leads to competition both on the side of buyers and sellers. Indonesia’s position as the world’s largest LNG ekspoter country in the near future will experience pressure both with new players, LNG sellers such as Australia, Qatar, Nigeria, Russia, etc. as well as rising domestic gas demand.
OBJECTIVES
In this course participants will be given of the comprehensive understanding of the LNG chain from both technical and economical aspects. Besides, it will be given some rule of thumb is important in the evaluation of some of the process performance of LNG and LNG business development.
