Wealth of natural resources in Indonesia very much. One of them is mine. We know that a lot of investors coming to Indonesia for mining business. Mining activities to take the valuable minerals from the layer of earth has been going on since long. During the next 50 years, the basic concept of processing relatively unchanged, the change is scale activities. Mechanization equipment and mining technology has led to increasingly large-scale mining and the extraction of low levels become economically with increasingly broad and deep layers of the earth to be dug. This causes the environmental impacts of mining activities is large and important. Mining activities in addition to environmental impacts, social impacts are also complex. Therefore, the EIA a mining activity should be able to answer two primary objectives (World Bank, 1998) is the first to ensure that the cost of environmental, social and health taken into consideration in determining the economic viability and determination of alternative activities that will be selected and the second ensures that the control, management, monitoring and protection measures have been integrated in the design and implementation of the project and the mine closure plan.
