Energy needs nowadays is a national problem that is so real and urgent, in connection with the soaring price of fuel oil (BBM) enormous global impact on various sectors of the national economy. Responding to the above problems the government has issued Presidential Directive 10 of 2005 on Energy Saving and actionable ESDM No.0031 of 2005 on the Implementation of Energy Saving. Also regulation No. 5 of 2006 on National Energy Policy and the Presidential 1 2006 Supply and Use of Biofuel (BBN) or biofuels.
Rising energy prices and the growing public concern about the environmental impact of energy use and energy industry sector liberalization resulted in a growing understanding of the importance of energy management and energy conservation in order to anticipate the rapid technological developments and energy resources are increasingly limited. This course will discuss the aspects of energy management for industrial and energy audits both in management and technical levels for all kinds of industrial equipment. With the implementation of good energy management is expected to save energy while minimizing environmental impacts which ultimately saves costs.
Objectives
This training is expected to provide insight and knowledge about energy management in the industrial sector, through the identification of energy saving opportunities, and implementation of energy-saving technologies, as well as the planning of efficient energy management.
